The Wim Hof Method

MALMÖ NODEN WORKSHOPS presents:

THE WIM HOF METHOD

This workshop is a collaboration with STPLN and their program COMA Presents: a six month program exploring sensorial experiences through events of different formats. Find out more at www.madeinthecoma.com/program

ABOUT WIM HOF

Wim Hof is a Dutch adventurer and stuntman who first caught the attention of scientists when he proved he was able to use meditation to stay submerged in ice for 1 hour and 53 minutes without his core body temperature changing. Since then, he’s climbed Mount Everest in his shorts, resisted altitude sickness, completed a marathon in the Namib Desert with no water and proven under a laboratory setting that he’s able to influence his autonomic nervous system and immune system at will.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

In this workshop we will explore Hof's method for withstanding icy water for extended periods of time. Bring swimwear and a towel as well as some warm clothes for after the bath.
